Arts Council Grants Committee – Volunteer Opportunity

Commitment & Time Requirements:

• Term: 2 years (renewable)
• Meetings: EFebruary - Zoom (approx. 2 hours)
• May - in person (approx. 3 hours, meal provided)
• September - Zoom (approx 2 hours)
• November - in person (approx 3 hours, meal provided)
• Grant Reviews: Each cycle, members review and score 10–15 grant applications (approx. 10 hours two times per year, October and April)
• Estimated Total Time: ~30–35 hours per year

Compensation (Optional Stipends):

• $20 per regular meeting; $40 if meeting exceeds 2 hours (not available for board members or paid staff)
• $100 per grant cycle for reviewing applications
