Miles’ glass mosaic work and contemporary millennial lens continues to push what is possible both on the substrate and through the visionary realms. His work offers a whimsical spiritual folk style deeply rooted in his practices of eclectic indigenous wisdom, transcendent spiritual practices, and formal education in the arts, media, and human culture.

Mosaic Workshop

Earth: My earth offering is essentially an introduction to mosaics. Hands on work with wooden manipulatives, paper cutting mosaic projects, how to break glass and tile for the older kids, printmaking from objects around the city. Sourcing natural materials. Everything from the concept to the result. There are many possibilities here, and the stone and physicality of this work has formed this as my earth element offering.

Introduction to Painting

Water: My water element offering is centered around Paint. Paint is naturally a water based medium. This looks like teaching color mixing, how to paint with oil pastels, how to paint with acrylics, how to paint with oil paints (for the older ages), how to go about conceiving and painting a mural, fine art and painting history perhaps. the emotional body of painting and art therapy…everything that encompasses paint and emotion.

Embodied Mindfulness

Fire: This is my martial arts offering. The living fire of spirit in our bodies. This includes yoga, mindful walking. meditation, stretching, basic body health exercise, everything that encompasses learning how to stoke and maintain the inner physical fire of the body in the martial art of embodied somatic mindfulness and present moment awareness.

Digital Media

Air: This is my air offering. My air offering has to do with communication and learning how to work in the cloud of the internet and modern day technology. The mental ways ideas can travel and inform our practice and culture. This offering spans digital hygiene practices, video and photo creation, shorts, social media, marketing, professional training on personal branding and entrepreneurship, pretty much everything that the air of the network has to offer and how to stay present, sane, in the body, and successful inside of this.
